Dr. Mikaela Friedman is the External Relations Officer at Genomic Medicine Sweden (GMS), where she has played a key role since its inception in 2018. She has contributed to the development of a national infrastructure for integrating precision medicine into Swedish healthcare. Dr. Friedman is responsible for GMS’s collaboration with patient advocacy groups, educational initiatives, and international partnerships. She holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biotechnology from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.
