What personal data we collect and why we collect it
This website collects the personal data provided by visitors in forms to subscribe to the newsletter or register for an event – name, surname, e-mail address and the name of any organisation the person represents when participating in the event. The purpose of this data collection and processing is to organize and administer events, and to inform the audience about relevant news.
When visitors subscribe to the newsletter or register for events on the site, we collect the data shown in the form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Cookies
If you subscribe to the newsletter or register on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you fill another form on the page. These cookies will last for one year.

Data put in the registration form for the newsletter or registration for events will be sent to the Mailchimp data base managed by the Children’s Hospital Foundation with the purpose of managing e-mail communication and newsletters through mailing lists. Children’s Hospital Foundation does not share the data with third persons, unless it is legally required or explicitly requested by the data subject.
