Michiel Haasjes is a Cell Therapy Specialist within the Cell and Gene Therapy Unit at Princess Máxima Center for pediatric oncology in Utrecht, The Netherlands. His work focuses on GMP-compliant operations, facility development, process implementation, and operational readiness for cell therapy manufacturing. As part of his role, he supports the collaboration between Princess Máxima Center and Children’s Clinical University Hospital in Riga, Latvia, in establishing a new Cell Therapy Facility. Through his work, he contributes to translating scientific, technical, quality, and operational requirements into manufacturing solutions that support the development and delivery of innovative cell-based therapies.
