Hi, my name is Mailo Grühn, I’m 18 years old and I’m from Gera, Thuringia, Germany. You can find me on Instagram at @mailo.grh.

At the age of seven, I was diagnosed with cancer. After many difficult years, I was treated with T Cell therapy in Heidelberg in 2025, which gave me a new chance and completely changed my life. Since then, I’ve been feeling better than ever and have been able to focus on what I love most: cycling.

I’ve been passionate about mountain biking since 2020 and started racing in 2022. Today, I’m working towards taking my racing to the next level while also finishing my Abitur. My goal is to study medicine in Heidelberg one day.
