Jean-Michel Luyckx

Jean-Michel Luyckx is the Head of Public Affairs for Novartis Belgium & Luxembourg, where he is passionate about shaping and advancing the company’s mission to revolutionize cancer care. With a decades-long legacy in cancer research, Novartis is committed to improving patient outcomes through innovation and sustainable healthcare solutions. Jean-Michel leads efforts to foster open, collaborative partnerships with healthcare professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders to better serve cancer patients, their physicians, and the healthcare system as a whole.

Jean-Michel has a background in biomedical sciences, political science, and European affairs. Prior to joining Novartis, he held similar roles at other leading pharmaceutical companies.

His ambition in public affairs is for Novartis to remain at the forefront of impactful, patient-centered healthcare in Belgium and Luxembourg, with a particular focus on innovation in cancer treatment.
