Helge Lubenow

Dr. Helge Lubenow  studied Biology and earned a doctoral degree at the University of Cologne, Germany and the Max-Planck-Institute in the field of genetics.

Dr. Lubenow is the CEO of Heidelberg Epignostix, with a mission to revolutionizing cancer diagnostics by harnessing the power of AI-models for molecular and image-based precision tumor classification.

She has many years of management and consulting experience in the field of diagnostics, a broad network in the health sector, and is an expert for the in vitro diagnostics industry in Europe, Asia and the United States. During her tenure with QIAGEN from 1997 – 2015 she held various positions, including Senior Vice President and Head of Diagnostic Business. During this time she also assumed positions in enterprises newly acquired in the USA, Australia and Norway. From 2018 to 2019 she was leading tesa Labtec a subsidiary of Beiersdorf AG, Germany. 2020 through 2023 she was appointed CEO of Proteomedix AG, Switzerland, an organization which she had served as a member of the board since 2017.

Dr. Lubenow is a supervisory board member of Epigenomics AG, Germany; Biofrontera AG, Germany; Neracare GmbH, Germany; Human Gesellschaft für Biochemica und Diagnostica mbH, Germany and Avelo AG, Schlieren, Switzerland.
